Start with ENT 1000

For students starting under the 2026–27 curriculum, the Registrar recommends ENT 1000: Foundations of Entrepreneurship in your first or second year. It’s where you learn to find problems worth solving, talk to customers, and test ideas cheaply before you build.

What the minor covers

The minor pairs entrepreneurship with design and making: finding real problems, prototyping solutions, and building ventures that can actually run. Courses come from across the university, not just the business school.

Requirements

Requirements changed for 2026–27, and course numbers changed with them. Use the current University Catalog and Registrar materials, not older course numbers you may find elsewhere online.

Questions about whether the minor fits your plan? Start with ENT 1000 and CES. You’ll know a lot more after a term.
