Entrepreneurship Summit

W&L's annual gathering of students, alumni, entrepreneurs and investors: panels, workshops, a student showcase and a live pitch competition.

How it works

Programming varies year to year. Recent Summits have run like this:

  1. Showcase. Student ventures set up tables. Attendees walk the floor, talk with founders and vote.
  2. Pitch competition. The top ventures pitch live to a panel of alumni judges.
  3. Awards. Winners have received cash awards, plus feedback, mentorship and introductions from alumni.

Around all of that: talks and panels from founders and investors, workshops, and a lot of networking.

Who it’s for

Everyone in the W&L community. You don’t need to be an entrepreneurship minor or a business major to attend or to show your work. CES ventures pitch at the Summit in winter term.

For students building something

It’s the best chance all year to show your work, meet alumni and get real feedback. Watch the newsletter for this year’s date, eligibility rules and deadlines.

For alumni

Come back to judge, mentor or speak. Here’s how to get involved.
