The fastest way to help a student founder is one hour of your time.

The Connolly Entrepreneurship Network is every W&L student, alum, parent and friend who builds things or helps others build them. Here's how to plug in.

Six ways to help, from one hour to a few days

What it takes
Judge a pitch The Fall Video Pitch Competition (December) or the Summit pitch competition (winter term).
Mentor a venture A few calls over a term with a team working in your industry.
Speak at CES One session, in person or on video, about what you built and what you’d do differently.
Come to the Summit Walk the showcase floor, talk to founders, vote.
Be an Entrepreneur in Residence A focused campus visit with one-on-ones, a class visit and a student dinner. About the program.
Hire a student Internships and jobs for students who’ve already built something.

What makes an introduction useful

Students in the network learn to ask for specific help: “I’ve interviewed 25 customers, built this prototype, have five paying users, and need to understand healthcare procurement.” If you can answer questions like that in your field, we want to hear from you.
